Daily Routines and Activities to Try

One of the best things you can do to keep your children entertained whilst their social interaction is limited is to give them a routine. This doesn't need to be anything too demanding or structured, but it might help them to make sense of their day, give them purpose and avoid any cries of 'I'm bored'. If you are also working from home during this time, it is also a way to add structure to your day and help to achieve a work life balance. We would love to see your child's learning from home and are checking Tapestry regularly. Please upload, pictures, videos and comments of what your child has been up to.

An example morning routine could look something like this:

08:30 - Breakfast or Snack

08:45 - Wake Up and Shake Up

09:00 - Mr Thorne Does Phonics and a Phonics Game or Activity

09:30 - Free Play

10:30 - Snack

10:45 - Maths Activity

11:00 - Creative Activity/Free Play

12:00 - Lunch

12:30 - Daily Exercise - You could incorporate activities such as listening walks whilst out and about
